It replaces traditional PTP Grand Masters, ISP routers, and media gateways with a cost-effective, compact device. MRTC generates local PTP/NTP timecode using GNSS and cellular networks, eliminating the need for centralised grand master clocks and enabling precise synchronisation across distributed production environments.
