Each year, a globally recognised sporting event captivates millions, and in 2024, SipRadius worked closely with the organisers to revolutionise the way international broadcasters received live feeds. The goal was to deliver multiple feeds, including live action and alternative camera angles, to foreign commentary booths with ultra-low latency and uncompromised quality. Using RIST (Reliable Internet Stream Transport), SipRadius successfully enabled glass-to-glass latency of around 100ms, ensuring real-time, synchronised commentary with minimal equipment or training required.
As the solution scaled, more than 60 devices were connected across the venue, including feeds to VIP suites and executive laptops, all securely and efficiently managed through the RIST streaming architecture. This seamless deployment demonstrated how SipRadius’ technology can deliver low-latency, high-quality streaming to a global audience, even under complex conditions.
