Parkland, Florida, US, October 22, 2026: SipRadius, widely recognized for making content processing and connectivity secure and seamless, has responded promptly to the global issue of PHP vulnerabilities.
“PHP is such a central part of the connected world, our systems were not exempt from the action,” said Sergio Ammirata Ph.D., SipRadius Chief Scientist. “The machines in our own cloud and those at key clients were potentially at risk, although no exploited vulnerabilities were identified.
“The important point is that we run our own operating systems – CoralOS, developed specifically for media applications – and manage our infrastructure, so we were able to react immediately,” Ammirata said. “We identified potential issues, created new firmware, and upgraded our in-house cloud network of more than 40 machines in just a few minutes. The same updates have been made available to all users of our technology on their own hardware.
“Make no mistake: this has been a huge wake-up call for the IP industry, and all leading suppliers and players must learn the lessons,” he commented. “For our part, we are proud and positive that, by being immersed in the specific needs of the media industry and by owning key parts of the ecosystem like the CoralOS operating system, we can respond quickly, accurately and securely to challenges like this, ensuring our users can continue their work with minimal disruption.”
SipRadius technology, used by major broadcasters, content producers and streaming networks around the world, was recently recognized with a Technology & Engineering Emmy® from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).
